However, despite the fact that the studio listened to the fans’ collective request, Marvel isn’t always going to grant the fandom’s wishes when it comes to fantasy castings and according to the company’s casting director, fan castings, in general, are “irrelevant”.Appearing on This Week in Marvel podcast, Marvel Studios producer and head casting director Sarah Finn discussed fan castings as a whole and how they lead up to expectations that are oftentimes hard to meet.
