The Marvel and DC director is obviously over the moon following the news and even took to Twitter to retweet Variety’s report. However, as excited as a lot of people are about Velma being revealed as a lesbian, some folks aren’t happy with the major change to the beloved character and they are even blaming Gunn for it.On the social media platform, Gunn responded to a fan who said he ruined what used to be a great cartoon. User Thomas Richard even went as far as calling the director a “moron”, adding that his kids will never watch the project. Gunn cheekily responded: “Sure thing. But I’ve never made a cartoon.”
