The Japan showcase may be the last one but it is surely packed with a lot of exciting announcements during the Netflix TUDUM event. A live-action CG hybrid series will be arriving on the streaming platform with Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure as they unveiled the official trailer of the show. Other than the cuteness of Gudetama and his new friend, Shakipiyo, as they journey into looking for their mother thus escaping the refrigerator, the trailer also features the theme song of the series, Gudetama March, performed by Southern All Stars band member Yūko Hara. Oh, and the show just landed a release date! A new poster for Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure indicates when the series will release on Netflix: December 13. Gudetama, just being Gudetama, wants to remain the lazy egg that he is but as Shakipiyo arrives, they head out into an adventure that will take them to the streets in hopes of finding their mother rather than end up on the plate and being eaten.
